Just as we were about to leave the house this morning, I got a call from work asking me to come in for a while today although it is my day off. Although I can't blame them for trying, as I would do the same if I was working shorthanded, which happens all too often, Ken and I still already had plans to do certain things that needed to be done, so I had to say sorry but no.
Today I am going to try to make a latte here at home by brewing double strength coffee and adding some heated milk and gingerbread syrup. I know it won't taste as good as a latte from work, but I'm going to try anyway, lol. When I can, I am going to get an espresso machine for at home, ha ha. Isn't it funny how you can easily become addicted to this type of drink? It's a good thing, or we'd be out of business, and I'd be out of a job. Or IS that a good thing??? Debatable that is.
Before coming here to the U.S., Ken almost NEVER drank coffee, but now is drinking it several times a day. Perhaps I am a bad influence! A nice lady who is a customer of ours at work brought Ken some tea bags called PG Tips, but sorry to say, I couldn't see any difference between those and Lipton. Oh well. I'm hardly an expert on tea.
Enough rambling for today.
